This hand carved peace pipe is carved into a traditional design out of genuine Pipe Stone. Hand carved by Native American Navajo artist Tom Joe. The long 25" Pipe stem is wrapped with quality, soft buckskin leather and intricately hand crafted crystal blue seed bead work with a nice alternating pattern. This hand crafted peace pipe includes a medicine bag surrounded with genuine buckskin leather fringe and feathers. The genuine Pipe Stone bowl was carved by hand. The Pipe Stone comes from Minnesota and is highly valued by Native Americans. This Native American pipe is a true rarity. The total length measures 28" long, the pipe stone bowl is about 3-1/2" x 2" x 1". You will receive the one of a kind hand carved peace pipe pictured.

Authentic Museum Quality Hand Carved Pipe Stone Ceremonial Peace Pipe

This Pipe Stone ceremonial peace pipe is above and beyond. Made by a real artist with care and attention to detail. The hand carved Pipestone pipe head is carved to perfection and features Sterling Silver Inlay. The Silver inlay work is clean and seamless against the natural stone. This quality Pipe Stone comes from Minnesota and is highly valued by Native Americans. Traditional woven patterns and dyed horse hair decorate the hand carved wooden Pipe stem. Each feather's shaft is wrapped with the same maroon and gold pattern as the woven designs on the top of the pipe. The feathers are finished with red horse hair and red wool. Some buckskin leather fringe hangs off of this one for extra adornment. This ceremonial peace pipe is the Real McCoy. We don't know the artist, but it is likely made by a Sioux artist as a gift. This peace pipe came to us by way of Native American bead artist Janice Osalita. Janice's son did a job for a doctor and received this Pipe as payment over 20 years ago. The case and hardwood stand was custom made for this particular pipe and is nice enough for a museum display. It even has felt padding where the pipe rests. This incredible Authentic Peace Pipe is 18" inches long. The case and stand is 24" wide by 14-1/2" tall by 4-1/2" inches deep. A pipe just like this one was recently featured in the High Noon auction in Mesa. The only difference was that pipe had three carved fetishes decorating the pipe stem. The bowl did not have silver inlay and it went for $6400 at auction. The auction claims that pipe is from the 1890's, our experts here doubt that is true and believe it to be from the 40's - 50's. The pipe being sold here is between 30 - 50 years old.

Indian Peace Pipe Ceremonial Medicine Man Beaded Peace Pipe by Navajo artist Albert Yazzie.
