Jeffrey Robert Pierce
has passed away. He had
so much love to give,
and was a very honorable
man. He is the love of
my life, and although I
know that he is not with
me physically anymore,
he will always be with
me in spirit and in my
heart. He lives on in
his son, Duncan Waya
Pierce, who is 1 year
old today. He will be
dearly missed. Thank you
all for everything, and
much love to each and
every one of you. Last
night, around 4:45am. He
died here at home, the
paramedics tried to
revive him and it did
not work. I believe he
died of Congestive heart
failure, but I will not
be sure for a couple of

Deputys, Silent Knife Tucker, his grandmother, Joan Tucker, is very ill with
lung cancer and some other complications. Shes been on chemo for 3 months

Bullard was and still in bad shape for a 3 month old little boy. Tiger says
that he has been taken off of life support and is now breathing on his own.
He is still in a bad shape, but only through prayers has he been able to
breathe on his own. Please keep sending up prayers for this child that he
will recover as the will of our Creator takes him through this crisis.Please
ask that all his family and friends will find comfort during this time of

Father.The efforts have been working in the time of our Creator, We get
worried and try to make changes that we have little control over and become
frustrated. If we just let Creator work, we need not worry.
My Brother in Ohio had told me that his kidneys have finally started
functioning again since that had stopped working two days. He is still on a
ventilator and will be for a while. He has an infection in the lungs and
blood stream and that will have to be addressed so that his lungs can work
as they should.
I appreciate all the prayers that have been offered in his behalf for a good
recovery.I know that a fire has been burning for him since he has the
surgery and I truly appreciate the efforts. Please also send prayers and
smoke for my Brother Tiger who is still trying to get moved to AL so that he
can continue to get treatment for his illnesses. It is imperative that this

My thanks are with you all for rallying around this need with your
prayers. My father is in recovery as of this writing. His doctor said that
all went well with the 4 hour procedure and that he had a lot to do to
recover and that he would be in the hospital 5 - 7 days as long as he does
as the doctor instructs. Please keep him in your prayers for a good recovery
and so he can go home soon. My brother Paul is with Mom during this
convalescence and then will have to go back home.Thank you all again for
your support and prayers., they are greatly appreciated.

I have a personal prayer request that I am asking your help
with. My father lives in Ohio and he takes care of my mother who is confined
to bed most of the time and he is her health care provider at night. My
father is going into the hospital in the morning for surgery on an abdominal
aneurysm that is very large. He will be having the surgery at 10 AM and I
wish your prayers and smoke for Creator to guide the hands of the surgeon
and calm the fears of all that are there with him. I ask that you please
pass this to other prayer groups that the surgery be guided by Our Creator
and that the outcome will be in accordance to the will of our Lord. I

in Oregon when he fell off of the ladder. He has injured his ankle severely
and is having surgery to day to repair the broken bone (s). John has no
insurance and will be staying with Chief Bill and Gwinn Stam until he is

Wolf Creek village in Virginia is going through a lot of things
recently. For those who don't know, it was the site of an Indian village in
Blane Virginia and the village and burial site was moved to all for
construction of a highway. We are asking for prayers that the site of this
village be protected and that the bodies that were there be returned to
Mother Earth. May the Creator touch the hearts of those who may do us wrong
and may this site be protected and the ancestors honored by the return of
our dead to the arms of Mother Earth.

Sue Lindy is a friend of mine and her daughter, Neoma has been healing from
a fractured ankle. She is having a great deal of problems with it and would
appreciate all the prayers for healing that we can offer.She needs the great
healing of our Creator right now.
My sister, Raven, in NC is very concerned about her daughter who had moved
to Florida for work and now is alone with two young girls, Nyrah and Jaydyn,
and still unemployed.. The job that she thought she had a possibility of
getting has already been taken. She has been trained in medical billing and
is still looking for work. Please pray that she makes good decisions in the
days ahead and that her Mom finds peace with all that her daughter is trying
to do in her life. Please send smoke and prayers that all who are involved
will receive the wisdom and blessings that our Creator can send them.
I have a friend, Jerry, in Oregon that is getting ready to do Sundance with
his son next month. Jerry has done Sundance several times and also the
piercing part of the ceremony. Jerry's son has been preparing for Sundance
for the last four years and he and his father will both pierce up together.
This is a special time for both and I ask your blessings and prayers for
their completion of this ceremony. This is especially an important event
since Jerry has prostate cancer and colon cancer. He is in need of our
prayers for strength and healing that he will get through this special event

I have three requests that I will ask you to send smoke and
prayers for and they are all urgently needed. Please ask Creator to touch
these who are suffering and give them a hand to hold that they will know
that they are not alone.
My Mother, Betty, in Ohio fell yesterday morning and broke her leg in two
places just below her knee. She has an appointment Tomorrow with an ortho to
determine if she will need surgery to repair the brake. She has been in a
hospital bed at home for years and now is with a splint until they can
determine the extent of the damage.
My father, Jack, is having a problem with an aneurysm that had been
scheduled for a stent. It is now too large for that and is more dangerous
now and he is awaiting a miracle to get help from someone to help at home so
that neither Mom or Dad will have to go to a nursing home. They are very
anxious about that.
My cousin, Chuck, is also recovering today from throat surgery from a
previous mishap while undergoing another procedure some time ago. His throat
was damaged by a previous intebation and has been repaired today.
May Creator touch all that are in pain and suffering and may we all remember
our people in Prayer. Our Creator is in control and may he stand fast beside
all our people and these mentioned here for your prayers. And keep in mind
those requests recently made this week who are still not out of the woods
yet health wise.

her own and has for a while with cancer. At last report a few days ago her

all organ functioning to be restored.

She has gone to a alternative medicine Doctor and is on chemo.
Yesterday she went for an MRI and...the tumors on both sides of her
pancreas had shrunk 25%. We pray that continues! Her husband was in
the yard when a neighbor's two pit bulldogs attacked their dog and he
tried to ward off their attack and was bitten - big toe was almost
severed. He is still stitched up and they are hoping he won't lose the
toe. Mike is in his 80's and this is tough on anyone. So...they have a
lot going on; plus her daughter had surgery for Pancreatic cancer as
well and has had some problems after. But we are elated with the news

eyes that he thought was allergy related. After test in the office, the
doctor immediately ordered a Brain MRI for today. He feels that something is

Brain Syndrome. We declare that by His stripes Trey is healed!

AN UPDATE ON MY DAUGHTER. I WENT TO COURT WITH HER AND SHE PLED "NOT
GUILTY"...IT HAS BEEN BOUND OVER TO A JURY COURT. SHE WILL BE NOTIFIED

BREAKING NEWS: Former Cherokee Nation Chief Wilma Mankiller dies
Christina Good Voice Staff Writer
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Former
Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Wilma Mankiller died in the morning
hours of
April 6 at her home in rural Adair County, Cherokee Nation officials
confirmed
to the Cherokee Phoenix.
Mankiller,
who was one of the few women ever to lead a major American Indian tribe,
was
64.
Her passing came a little more
than a month after her husband, CN Community Services Group Leader
Charlie Soap,
announced that she was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer.
“Our personal and national hearts
are heavy with sorrow and sadness with the passing this morning of Wilma
Mankiller,” said Chad Smith, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation in a
statement released by the tribe. “We feel overwhelmed and lost when we
realize
she has left us but we should reflect on what legacy she leaves us. We
are
better people and a stronger tribal nation because her example of
Cherokee
leadership, statesmanship, humility, grace, determination and
decisiveness."
“When we become
disheartened, we will be inspired by remembering how Wilma proceeded
undaunted
through so many trials and tribulations," Smith said. "Years ago, she and
her
husband Charlie Soap showed the world what Cherokee people can do when
given the
chance, when they organized the self-help water line in the Bell
community. She
said Cherokees in that community learned that it was their choice, their
lives,
their community and their future. Her gift to us is the lesson that our
lives
and future are for us to decide. We can carry on that Cherokee legacy by
teaching our children that lesson. Please keep Wilma’s family,
especially her
husband Charlie and her daughters, Gina and Felicia, in your
prayers.”
In a March 2 news release,
Soap said Mankiller had stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer but gave no
other
details.
In the release, Mankiller
wrote she was prepared for the journey.
“I decided to issue this statement because I
want my
family and friends to know that I am mentally and spiritually prepared
for this
journey, a journey that all human beings will take at one time or
another,” she
wrote. “It’s been my privilege to meet and be touched by thousands of
people in
my life, and I regret not being able to deliver this message personally
to so
many of you.”
Mankiller served as
principal chief from 1985 until retiring in 1995. Prior to becoming
principal
chief, she served as deputy chief under Ross Swimmer. She assumed the
principal
chief position and served out the remainder of the 1983-87 term after
Swimmer
resigned to take a Bureau of Indian Affairs job in Washington, D.C. She
was
elected principal chief in 1987 and 1991.
Mankiller was born on Nov. 18, 1945, at W.W.
Hastings
Indian Hospital in Tahlequah, according to a CN press release.
Mankiller
requested that any gifts
in her honor be made as donations to One Fire Development Corporation, a
non-profit dedicated to advancing Native American communities though
economic
development, and to valuing the wisdom that exists within each of the
diverse
tribal communities around the world. Tax deductible donations can be

Chief Eye of Eagle Burke has requested your prayers for a family
in crisis. The Florida court system in Tampa will be making a decision on
two children that were taken from a Native American woman. The DCF was
called to have two children removed from their mother because she basically
was Native American and worked hard at her business, and on occasion leaving
the two children alone at home ( the eldest was 14 years old).
Chief Burke and I are requesting prayers on Monday. The court
convenes at 10:00 AM and if you would send your prayers at 09:30 that the
judge would find for the woman to get her kids back and that this case would
mark a turning point in the system that allows for this foolishness to be
stopped when dealing with Native American families. This misunderstanding
almost cost the permanent removal of two Native American children from
their home and their mother. Let us pray that this never happens to another
Native American.

law has taken a new family ,and they have been together a little over a year
now. The family has two children ,I think 13, and 7. Harold my ex.
brother-in-law is a great person and father to these children as he was
with his own children, that are grown now with family's of there own. He
really loves them all,and is a hard working man. He would take the boy
everywhere with him, and they said that the young man loved Harold, as he
stated in his note, and he didnt wont to wake them up.HE SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN
A VERY DISTURBED YOUNG MAN TO ME. It could have been that his mother and
father had divorced.No one realy knows. He told his Teachers at school and
friends that he was going to kill himself, but no one believed him, Oh, and
the school never called and told the family,"Can you believe that"?
Harold and the mother and little girl are broken! Harold called mom, and she
said he just cried so hard that he couldn't hardly tell her about it.
You know brother we get so busy with our life's as parents sometimes and we
don't even here what our kids are telling us, and the schools could pay more
attention and report things like that to the parents, but it seems as though
no one wants to get involved.
There father has recently deployed to Iraq, but before he left he gave a gun
to the 13 year old boy. They,"Harold and the mother", got up to go about
there daily duty and the mother found the young man had taken his own life
with the gun his father had given him. He left a letter saying that he just
couldn't cope with life anymore. He used a pillow to muffled the sound so it
wouldn't wake them up.(NO ONE KNOWS WHERE HE GOT THE SHELLS FOR THE GUN).
This is such a sad thing and it has just broke my heart. I didn't know the
family personally ,
but what an awful thing. A life taken at such a young age.

Thank you for all the
prayers that have been sent out this week. Creator must have something
in mind in another life for Denis's Father. He just pass to the other
side. He went without pain, thanks to the Hospice house.
There will be no funeral
here in Florida, he will be cremated here and will be taken to Michigan
for a gathering of the family next week.
Again, I would like to
thank everyone for their prayers and support in the last few days.

is sometimes short and sometimes long, in this case it was a long good
life for our Brother, he was 84 years young.

around 1Pm, after apparently suffering a massive Heart Attack. Chuck was a
good man and will be missed by all and greatly by those who knew him. Please

sorrow.

am jennifer, christinas daughter. im writing this to let all her friends
that she has been very sick for weeks now. she finally gave in and went to
the er and we almost lost her ,the drs told us if she had waited 1 hour
longer she would not had made it, it chills me to know that if she hadn't went
she would be gone now. i want to thank the ones who knew she was ill for
sending up prayers for her, and im asking the rest of you who believes in
prayer to do also. she has been suffering with phemonia. she is very weak
and they have her on oxygen at home, so please dont give up on her and please
stay her friends, its not shes ignoring you its just that she is to weak to
use the computer now. ive noticed that for the past 2 days she has gotten a
little stronger. i told her i was going to write this and she said to tell
all of you she loves being your friend and she said she would be back soon
and that she misses you all very much. thank you for taking the time to read

The news is going out from Oklahoma that Wilma Mankiller, first woman
chief of the Cherokee Nation, has Stage IV pancreatic cancer and is
receiving care at home from hospice. Members of her community are asking
for prayers "for Wilma, her husband Charlie Soap, and her family, all the
Cherokee people, the Native American people, the women, children and
elders who treasure her and who will miss her so much. May Creator God be
with her in this final earthly journey."
Please keep Wilma in your heart at this time. We were blessed by her two
visits to Willamette University and by her residency in Oregon in 2005.

Many prayers are needed for Our Brother Chief George Eye of
Eagle Burke. He had a heart attack about 2 AM today and is currently in the
hospital in Lake City. According to his wife, he will have to have two
stents put in and his chances are not all that good. Please place our
Brother on your prayer list that he can fight this. If he can have the
surgery, he will be transferred to Gainesville where they are more prepared
for this high risk type surgery. He was told 90/10 chance. So prayers are
welcome and greatly encouraged.

I got a call from Pati Payne Moore (she is on facebook)She said that
Tall Tree was breathing on his own. He is out of intensive care and in a
room. He will be moved from Gaivesville to a rehab Center (nursing Home) in
Lake City. He is already trying to walk but there is no one in the PT Staff
on duty until Monday.
He will be in the rehab center for possibly a month to get his strength back
and all.
If you go on Facebook she posts daily updates. Go to Pati Payne
Moore. She will add as friend and can see status...The Creator has been kind
to our Brother Tall Tree...We will keep him in prayers for a full recovery.

years old and is getting very forget full
and her health is not so good
neither. she is in a nursing home and is not getting any better,

two sons Allen Eunice and jack Flecther,
they have both just had Strokes
and need all the Prayers they can get
