Genuine Hopi Hand Carved Clown Kachina Doll
This is a face only a mother could
love. Look at the expression on this one! It is an impressive work
of Hopi artistry. This one was masterfully carved by hand out of
genuine cottonwood root. And, it was painted by hand from top to
bottom. This Clown Kachina Doll wears a genuine leather garment with
a genuine leather medicine bag. It stands 17-1/4" tall (including
the wooden base), and it is 6-1/2" wide. Signed by the Hopi artist
Bill Hay. Each Kachina has its own separate attributes,
representing everything from animals to abstract concepts. Kachina
Dolls are models of the Kachinas and represent their likeness and
